E-SUBSCRIPTIONS

If you want to subscribe to the CERIS listserv that announces job postings, funding opportunities, seminars, and other events, follow these instructions.

Subscribing to the CERIS Graduate Students Listserv:
From the email address where you want the messages sent, send an e-mail to: listserv@yorku.ca
In the body of the message type subscribe CERISLIST and then your first name and last name.

subscribe CERISLIST [first name last name]
end

For example:
subscribe CERISLIST Ray Tan
end

You must then confirm your subscription by responding to the automated email request that you receive within 48 hours.

Do not include any other characters or information other than 2 names after the listserv name.

We want to be sure that we’re keeping in touch with all the students who are interested in CERIS’ work. We have set up a special listserv for graduate students. This makes it easier for us to maintain an up to date list and be sure that we’re reaching everyone who wants to receive our messages.

This list also allows graduate students to get in touch with each other. This listserv to keep you informed of their activities and how you can get involved. Messages to the list should be directly related to issues of immigration and settlement.

If you want to continue to receive information on CERIS activities and information specific to grad students, please subscribe to our new list “CERISSTUDENTLIST”.

To subscribe to the CERIS Graduate Students Listserv, you MUST subscribe from YOUR OWN e-mail account. The LISTSERV software extracts your e-mail address from the e-mail message you send then uses this address to distribute mail to you.
